How to Contact Elected Officials as a Student Journalist

I sat down with Sady Swanson, a Colorado trending topics reporter at The Coloradoan, to discuss how student journalists can best contact elected officials. In my experience, I received responses either too late or not at all from elected officials, and assumed that I am not alone in this aspect. Therefore, this video should serve most journalism majors at CSU.
